Parking:  Please use parking across the street from KCHA!
Lunch:  An hour will be provided for lunch to allow time to explore Tukwila lunch spots.

The workshop offers an overview of Financial Empowerment curricula and resources to provide you:

  • An orientation and demonstration of an assortment of training curricula and resources that you can mix and match to best meet the needs of your clients. Examples include: FDIC Money Smart Financial Education Program, Your Money, Your Goals toolkitUniversity of Arizona – Take Charge Today, VISA Practical Money Skills, WA LawHelp.org and Kahn Academy and FTC training videos.
  • A review of financial well-being, economy, starting the conversation, the role of a referral, banking, credit, debt, savings and financial safety.
  • Strategies for facilitating financial trainings with diverse audiences.
  • An opportunity to beta test a new prototype App designed to help direct organization staff and their clients to financial information and resources in multiple languages.
